My Story
I used Scentsy wax and warmers for a year or so before I became a consultant, back in June 2018. I loved Scentsy as a customer as it allowed me to finally fragrance my bedroom, when I was younger a friend had a house fire which was caused by a candle catching alight onto a curtain, and of course this was worrying! With Scentsy I didn’t have to worry about a flame, and the scents lasted so much longer than other brands. I also loved the design of the warmers, my first and still one of my favourites being the Chasing Fireflies!
Me and my mum placed an order which must have totalled over £70 at least, just before we decided to take the plunge and join. We spoke, and thought why not just give this business a try? What’s the worst that can happen? We get left with a kit that cost £85, but we can use and keep forever, or we can have a successful business as a result.. so whilst on holiday on the 29th June 2018, I decided to join and take advantage of the free Scentsy go with the kit!
I don’t think I could ever have anticipated how my business would develop, even in such a short space of time. Scentsy have amazing incentives for consultants, not just trips but in your first few weeks and months too. I managed to hit shooting star and also scentsational start level 2, which I’m still so proud of. I couldn’t believe the kindness of other consultants, everyone cheers each other on and our team group boosted and supported me to give it my all; despite my worries about what other people might think..
Scentsy has changed my entire life. I’ve been doing this now for almost a year and a half and I can honestly say that it’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. The products are incredible and our catalogue expands each season, I love having the opportunity to bring back scent memories - myself and for other people whilst they’re having a sniff of the tester pots. Some scents take me back to places in my childhood, and then scents I warm now I’m sure will remind me of times in my life for years to come.
I have a small growing team who I am so grateful for, and love to support, I have visited Switzerland and Amsterdam with Scentsy and I cannot wait for the future opportunities that I can work towards. Meeting Heidi and Orville in Switzerland was such a huge moment for me, the CEO’s of the company, and having them talk to you by name, it’s a wonderful feeling! They’re so grateful for us as consultants just as much as we are grateful to them for the opportunities. I flew to Switzerland ALONE, now for an anxious, shy, person this is a huge achievement for me but I come out my comfort zone more and more with Scentsy and surprise myself!
